IFC invests in privatesector institutions, mobilizes private capital in local and internationalfinancial markets and provides technical advisory and risk mitigation servicesto businesses. IFC invests in private sector projects that are financially andeconomically viable and have a substantial development impact. IFC-s Financial Institutions Group (FIG) engages with financialentities through its advisory and investment services which are deliveredglobally through IFC-s global network. In Europe, FIG provides those servicesto financial institutions in a wide range of sub-sectors including Micro, Smalland Medium Enterprise Finance; Climate Finance; Banking on Women; DigitalFinancial Services; and Risk Management.
