- Expression of Interest are invited for Green Hydrogen Strategy for Ukraine. Publication Date: 18-Aug-2021 The scope of the activity will include: (i) deep market and financial analysis to identify financially viable options; (ii) economic impact analysis of a potential new hydrogen industry; (iii) potential integration with the broader decarbonization agenda and carbon markets; (iv) Infrastructure gap analysis, including conversion existing infrastructure to accommodate hydrogen transportation and distribution; (v) analysis of the regulatory framework, security/operation normative, certification of origin, GHG emissions accounting and institutional architecture; (vi) analysis of alternative scenarios to support an enabling environment for the deployment of a hydrogen economy; (vii) Target setting and roadmap definition, feeding to NDCs; (viii) capacity building, stakeholder´s engagement plan. The World Bank is seeking to contract a firm or consortium of firms with demonstrated experience in developing similar green hydrogen strategies to support the Government of Ukraine in designing a National Green Hydrogen Strategy.
