The World Health Organization (WHO) Country Office in Ukraine is seeking a service provider that can implement the STEPS Survey (the Stepwise Approach to Non-Communicable Disease Risk Factor Surveillance in Ukraine).The STEPS Survey has the purpose of measuring the prevalence of behavioural risk factor for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) risk factors in a comparative manner. The objectives of the survey are to measure the prevalence of behavioural risk factors for NCDs in the target population, determine the prevalence and levels of biological risk factors for NCDs, identify aspects of healthcare services utilizations. The Survey will be in-presence and will be carried out in several regions in Ukraine. As such, the current Expression of Interest (EOI) is limited to local (Ukrainian) companies that can physically carry out the fieldwork in Ukraine.The local company is expected to finalize the study protocol, select clusters and households and develop routes for the field teams, provide for the transport and logistics for the fieldwork, and carry out the interviews and physical measurements (sociological component of the survey).For more detail on the required service, please refer to the enclosed Expression of Interest document.
