Description:
Tenders are invited for Ukraine Transport Program: Team Engineer and Contracts Expert. The IBRD-supported Road Sector Development Project in Ukraine aims to improve transport connectivity, maintenance operations and road safety for road users on selected sections of the national roads network and improve road network management in Ukraine. The Project is financed by a US$ 337.8 million loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and aims to construct 115.47 kilometers of the M-03 motorway and a further 40.81 km of the M-12 motorway. RSDPs sister project is the Second Road and Safety Improvement Project (RSIP 2) which aims at improving the condition and quality of sections of the M-03 road and increasing safety on roads in Ukraine. RSIP2 is financed by a US$ 450 million loan from IBRD and has supported works on the M-03 motorway. This assignment is for a Team Engineer and Contracts Expert (hereafter the Expert) to support and advise the World Bank on site supervision and contract monitoring for roads sector Projects in Ukraine.
